Dress Code
Ballet
For ballet classes, dancers must wear a leotard and tights with pink ballet shoes. Hair needs to be in a bun to keep out of the face.
Levels 4 -6, Duo Dance, Creative Movement and Baby Ballet
Any colored leotard is fine. Please have pink tights with no holes.
Skirts and dancer shorts are permitted.
Levels 1-3
Black leotard with pink tights. *Dancers may wear a colored leotard the first class of the month.*
Pink tights with no holes.
Skirts and black dancer shorts are permitted.
Modern & Contemporary
For these classes, dancers must wear a leotard and tights with pink ballet shoes. Hair should be in a bun or ponytail.
Levels 1-3
Black leotard with pink or tan tights. Dancer shorts are permitted
Modern- No shoes or socks
Contemporary- Capezio Women's Canvas "Hanami" Pirouette Shoes (available at Dancers Pointe or Discount Dance)
Jazz
For jazz classes, dancers should wear a leotard with tights or tightly fitting athletic clothing such as biker shorts, leggings, with tank tops. Hair should be off the face.
Levels 4-5
Any colored leotard is fine with pink or tan tights. Black leather jazz shoes are required.
Levels 1-3
Any colored leotard is fine with pink or tan tights. Tan leather jazz shoes are required.
Tap
Hip Hop
For tap classes, dancers can wear athletic clothing that they can easily move in. Hair should be off the face.
Beginner Tap and Duo Dance
We recommend the Theatricals Child Lace Up tap shoe in black which can be purchased at Dancer's Pointe or Discount Dance.
Levels 1-3
We recommend any brand tap shoe with split sole in black which can be purchased at Dancer's Pointe or Discount Dance.
Skirts and black dancer shorts are permitted.
Adults
In hip hop class, dancers can wear loose fitting athletic clothing but should have their knees covered. Shorts are not encouraged. All levels need clean sneakers. Hair should be off the face.
Typically white or black sneakers are needed for recital.
Adults can wear comfortable athletic clothing to any of our classes offered. WE recommend hair off of the face.
